The DGG's statutes govern membership of our professional association:

• Any doctor who is actively involved in the field of vascular surgery, either in a practical or scientific capacity, as well as vascular assistants and endovascular assistants, can become a full member.
• Associate memberships are open to individuals and legal entities who have a demonstrable interest in vascular surgery or who have made significant contributions to the field of vascular surgery.
• Scientific societies or associations from related fields of vascular surgery may become corporate members.
• Renowned foreign surgeons who are to be honoured may be appointed as corresponding members.
• Honorary members may be persons who have rendered outstanding services to the development and promotion of vascular surgery.
